Wherever you are in your journey, your story can be one of strength.
There is no way to enter this life prepared for everything that will happen. Perhaps you used to feel ready for whatever life throws at you, and you need a bit of support moving forward. Maybe you’ve felt stuck and overwhelmed and it seems there’s no end in sight. It could be that you feel that things are going well, but there’s something missing. No matter where you are in your story, I’m here to help.
Rhamah Norris, LMFT, LMHC, CCTP, C-DBT
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I am Certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I use an integrative approach to work with adults and teens dealing with anxiety and depression, gender dysphoria, trauma, grief, and potentially co-occurring substance use disorders. I also work with couples and families looking to change the patterns in their relationships to build trust and support. I am a member of WPATH in good standing, and trained in assessments and letters of support and referral for gender affirming care. I am also also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and trained in grief counseling.
I believe that managing mental health and building the ability to recover, to be resilient, and to thrive relies on our the ability to change our understanding. We must learn how to explore what life events mean to us, accept their impact, and change how we respond. If you are looking for tools to manage difficult feelings and help you move forward, we may be a good fit. If you are ready to start taking control of your story, give me a call at (813) 563-2304 or contact me to schedule a free, 30-minute consultation.
